Nigeria News Today – The Catholic Bishops of Ibadan Ecclesiastical Province have called on President Goodluck Jonathan to be bold.

It was reported that The Bishops told the President to boldly confront the monsters of corruption and insecurity in the country.
This took place at the end of a communiqué at the end of their two-day meeting in Awe town, Oyo State, the Bishops noted with dismay the failure of the Federal Government to investigate and prosecute allegations of corruption as reported by The Nation.
This, they said, greatly detracts from the credibility of the transformation agenda of the current administration and further demoralises our fractious nation.
The communiqué jointly signed by its president, Most Reverend Felix Job, and secretary, Felix Ajakaiye, submitted that the tragic Boko Haram insurgence which continues to spread death, mayhem and destruction is merely the most visible manifestation of the country’s burden of political chaos and confusion.”
Also, Guardian recently Reported that “The bishops accused the government of shielding some powerful Nigerians from prosecution over corruption charges, describing the trend as a manifestation of our country’s woes and backwardness”
Other Bodies recently rumored that CAN insisted that Jonathan resign which was renounced false but we know that that SEAT is no longer confortable for President Jonathan as diverse oppositions still prevails on every corner especiall on the Issues of the Boko Haram Islamic Sect.
