Mitt Romney tells supporters that he can relate with black people because his ancestors once owned slaves. Many Blacks in the state are not taking this lightly.

Here is what Mitt Romney said while addressing a crowd in Prattville, Alabama on Monday:

I understand how difficult it can be for an African-American in today’s society. In fact, I can relate to black people very well indeed. My ancestors once owned slaves, and it is in my lineage to work closely with the black community. (Score: Good However, just because they were freed over a century ago doesn’t mean they can now be freeloaders.(I feel Insulted) They need to be told to work hard, (Chai, I feel Insulted) and the incentives just aren’t there for them anymore.(Make una hold me ooo, i wan fight somebody ooo) When I’m president I plan to work closely with the black community to bring a sense of pride and work ethic back into view for them. (So we blacks are lazy right?)

This Guy needs a Pinch from my Grand Mama, A bite from my Nephew and probably a serious beating from some Ajegule Boyz. Chai.

I wish him well. If he thinks the only way to get to the Whitehouse is by insulting the Blacks, let him go ahead deluding himself. It shows the kind of aparthied president he’s going to be. He has already announced his free fall ever before the elections. We wait to see if a Grand Father Clause is going to work for him at this 21st century. An America president is not a president for just the Americans, but the entire world going by US’ global standing. So empty and clueless vesells like Mitt is a disaster.

During an exercise called philosophical chairs in my ELA class, we were discussing the Bama and Romney campaign, and this came up. we were surprised to hear such things come from a presidential candidate. During an exercise called philosophical chairs, we all sat mouths open and wide-eyed while our classmate read this article out loud.

  3. Carlee Davis says:

It’s very sad to hear this kind of comment coming from a presidential candidate. How can Governor Romney speak about the African American with so much disrespect? How can he work with the African American community when he doesn’t know anything about African Americans? How can he speak on the subject of African Americans when he doesn’t have any as friends or on his staff? In the United States there are people of all races and different ethnic back ground that are getting government assistance to help them live month to month, so why is it that the Governor is pin pointing one race. He’s an uneducated racist that doesn’t know anything about African American people and he deserves to lose this election.

You have got to be kidding!!!!

  5. Anasia says:

Yeah, I’m a super lazy black person since I only work three jobs to pay off student loans and still be able to live (i.e. buy groceries, pay car note, take care of essentials, my turtle’s needs, and rent/utilities)……….I obviously should be working four. Man I’m so lazy, volunteering on my one day off a week, that could have been one shift at a fourth job, my bad.
Some people will just never get it.
