Some super-rich pastors in Nigeria have forgotten the purpose of their calling and thier actions and pronouncements are far from the teachings of Christ. Otherwise, why will a pastor advise hhis members to ONLY marry from his fold? If that is the case, how will you reach to the lost sheep who will see the light through a member of the church. Nowhere in the bible does it say that the church should be a closed door gathering of like minded people. The bible is so rich that you can find a passage to justify your actions be it good or bad.
Recently a pastor started punching a lady because he suspected her of being a witch. Where in the bible did Christ do that to drive witchcraft? If the lady had been the daughter of a wealthy Nigerian, I’m sure he would think twice before doing that!
