LASTMA Impounds Obasanjo’s Vehicle over Lagos Traffic Law

| October 24, 2012

Members of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority impounded Obasanjo Farms vehicle for contravening Lagos traffic law.

However, effort to get the Chief Executive of LASTMA, Mr. Young Arabamen, to comment on the development proved abortive as his secretary said he was in a meeting.

Does it mean that Obasanjo is above the law?
Nigeria is a country where you have one law for the rich and powerful and another for the ‘rest’. In Nigeria, military personnel whenin uniform refuse to pay transport faresin a public ttransport and woe betide the vehicle conductor who dares question the ‘officer’. He will recieve the ‘buckle end’ of the ‘officer’s belt’. For the poor person in Nigeria, it’s double jeopardy. Please God, help us!!!!!!!!
