She said her mother assisted to keep her to keep afloat till they were spotted by the rescue team from the Catholic Diocese of Idah who pulled them into the boat.
The woman said she delivered a baby boy few minutes after in the boat as they were being ferried to Idah.
Another victim of the flood in Kogi State from Ibaji, Mrs Grace Egwuche, said she had her baby on Wednesday and currently receiving medical help at Holy Trinity hospital owned by the Catholic Church in Idah.

Bologi also quoted Awoniyi as commending the efforts of local government liaison officers in the nine affected council areas for ensuring proper management of the camps.
In a related development, Ibaji Local Government Area had been severed from the rest of the state as the Idah–Ibaji Road, the only link road in the area had been washed away at several points.
Mr Dave Oguh, the Local Government Liaison Officer, who led a delegation of government officials to one of the gullies on the road, said that when the flood receded, Ibaji people would have no road to return home.
