This Kaigama disclosed at the opening ceremony of 10th General Assembly of Catholic Archdiocese of Jos on Tuesda. He also appeal that people should stop referring to the security problems in Nigeria as Muslim fighting against Christians or vice versa.

He said the theme of the assembly ‘The Challenge of the Christian Faith in a Crisis-ridden Society: The Nigerian Experience’ stresses the need for Christians to examine their faith “because it is in such situations that faith is tested”.

He said it was also to coincide with the declaration of this year as a year of faith by Pope Benedict XVI, beginning from October 15 till November 23, 2013 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council, which is also the Solemnity of Christ, the King.
