In what looked like a London terror attack, a British soldier was beheaded in broad day light in Woolwich, South London.The presumed soldier was reportedly beheaded with a machete in broad day light by two men in what is suspected to be a terror attack.

Linda reports that the soldier was attacked with knives and meat cleavers following a car crash. Two black men in a blue Vauxhall car rammed into the soldier on John Wilson Street, then jumped out of their car and started attacking him with meat cleavers. An eye witness said the attackers were “chopping this guy to pieces, literally hacking at something like it was a piece of meat”.It is claimed that the men shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’, which means God is great in Arabic before attacking.

A menace of child abandonment strikes again as a day old baby was rescued, wrapped in front of a shop owner in Lagos.

A great crime against the Law and the future of a baby-girl who was reportedly wrapped with a dirty Ankara wrapper and dumped in front of a shop owned by a foodstuff seller, Mrs. Adeola Adefenwa, at 194, Ipaja Road, Orile, at dawn, was rescued by some human right activists from Committee for the Defence of Human Right, CDHR, and Concerned Human Right, Nigeria.

PM News has it that “the baby was taken to Orile-Agege General Hospital, Oke-Odo where she was given adequate medical care and later transferred to Elere Police Station, Agege.
After some documentation at the police station, she was handed over to Sister Josephine Titiloye of the Catholic Archdiocesan Orphanage, St. Monica’s Home at 1, Victor Odunaiya Street, Off Agbado Road, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos.

Before the human right activists came to the rescue of the baby, people thronged the scene of the incident to have a look at the abandoned baby.

Some Soldiers and officials of the Army were arrested for helping members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect.This was made public by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika yesterday Wednesday.

Punch News has it that the Military did not give the number of soldiers that were arrested in connection with aiding members of the sect.

Ihejirika said that the affected troops were caught while posting comments he described as “negative” and conversing with terror suspects on the Internet.He stated, “There are some soldiers that have been found to be posting negative comments on the Internet and some  conversing with insurgents.“I want to state that any officer or soldier caught linked one way or the other will be disciplined severely, there are no two ways about it.“So the Directorate of Military Intelligence is encouraged to continue to monitor the activities along with military police and other commanders in the field because military service is service of patriotism as I said earlier.”

The state of emergency rule still stands and the military have outlined progress and the rule of engagement was publicly disclosed yesterday on the NTA.

Over 120 Boko Haram members were reportedly arrested in Borno during the burial ceremony of a commander of the sect.
Disclosing this in a statement in Abuja, military spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, said the sect commander died during an encounter with the Special Task Forces.

Information Nigeria disclosed that, “In Maiduguri, about 120 terrorists were arrested as they organised the burial of one of their commanders who died in an encounter with the Special Forces the previous day. The arrested insurgents are in custody of the Joint Task Force where they are being interrogated,” Olukolade said.

According to him, Special Forces had secured the environs of New Marte, Hausari, Krenoa, Wulgo and ChikunNgulalo in Borno State after destroying all the terrorists’ camps in the areas.

Reports also reveal that most of the suspected Boko Haram members aside the 120 arrested fled to neighbouring Countries like Chad and Niger. Many applauds the decision of the Emergency Rule.

Esther Odozi bared the upper part of her body on Monday on the premises of the court, in protest against hunger that she said was “killing her and the five children” she left back home in Agbor Owanta, Delta State.

Odozi, a farmer laid half-unclad on a road in the court shouting, “Hunger, hunger. Government must do something today. I have not received anything from the plenty crude oil money government is spending in our state. Nigerians are wicked.”

Tragic but Funny many said. This many believed is uncalled for by Mrs Esther while others believed she had a right to her views and torment.

Over 20 Teenagers were apprehended by the Police in Imo State Baby Factory.

Information reaching us that a Baby Factory was unveil by the Police as disclosed by the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Katsina. He disclosed that these teenagers were apprehended and held behind lock and key until delivery.

Below are the prices for various baby gender:
A. Baby Boy, Between N30,000 – N350, 000.

B. Baby Girl, Between N25, 000 and N250, 000.

Up to 20 teens and 11 babies were rescued.
