Suspected Boko Haram sect were responsible for Bauchi Church Bombing killing 4 and injuring 46 others.

Four worshippers at the Saint John’s Catholic Church in Wunti area were reported dead while over 46 injured. This took place immediately after the 1st Mass that ended at about 9.00am.

The bomber who tried to enter the Church arena was prevented due to barricades on the road. He was reported dead as he detonated an explosive while the Opel Vectra car used by the bomber was also destroyed.
Drums filled with cement positioned around the gate thus prevented the bomber from driving into the church which inturn minimized the impact of the blast.
Still, we all hope for more efforts in tackling the issue of insecurity in the Northern Part of the Nation.
